Step one: Figure out how to draw characters with really interesting hair that defies physics
Step two: Make sure that most of the male characters would not have a hard time passing as women
Step Three: Make sure everyone has some kind of weapon, over the top personality, or is a ninja/pirate
Step Four: involve complicated curses, spells, and hexes
Step Five: Put subliminal messages in the anime that the male characters should be involved
